Astral Preventive Maintenance & Out-of-Warranty Repair:
The ResMed Astral vent requires preventive maintenance at regular intervals: every 2 years and 35,000 hours. We start off by downloading the device event log from your Astral ventilator. Next, we update the device firmware to the most recent release, as provided by ResMed. We replace all components as directed by ResMed protocol according to the applicable service interval. Once all of that has been completed, the device is calibrated using the ResMed proprietary computerized software that only ResMed and their authorized service centers use. Once the device is calibrated, it is tested with the same ResMed proprietary computerized software to ensure all operating functions and parameters are met. You are provided with a Certificate of Conformance, in addition to a detailed invoice listing the work performed and parts replaced.
Life support ventilators such as the Astral 150 and Astral 100 are highly technical medical devices. This is not a piece of equipment that you want to chance with an ordinary repair shop that does not have access to the latest updates and testing requirements. Astral Warranty Repair:
We offer FREE Pickup and Delivery for commercial customers located in our service area, which includes most of Florida, Southern Georgia, and Eastern Alabama. We also accept units via FedEx or UPS. Concerned about shipping costs? Give us a call. We can help.

We track all repairs by manufacturer serial number. Need to reference something? Send us a PO number and we’ll include that on all of the associated paperwork. Need a business agreement for your accreditation? We’ve got you covered. Our non-binding service agreement will take care of that.
Best of all – no cost to you! ResMed Astral ventilator machines under warranty through ResMed are repaired and returned at no cost to you. How? Altra Service Professionals (ASP) is a ResMed Authorized Service Center. We are reimbursed by ResMed for parts, labor, and return shipping. Not sure if it’s under warranty? Too busy to look it up?
