The Mission of Altra Service Professionals is to provide exceptional service on a consistent basis to ensure total customer satisfaction. This will be achieved by partnering with individuals and companies with similar goals and values.

ASP works with all sizes of health care providers from smaller one site companies to large national organizations. We also perform repairs for people that own their equipment. Our close relationship with UPS allows us to service any state quickly and cost effectively. ASP is your go to repair company with the experience and integrity other companies trust to work with. Our strong background in the HME industry gives us an edge over our competition. We understand the challenges home care companies face each day, from competitive bidding to on-call equipment failures to denied claims. Every dollar counts and we are here to help lower your equipment maintenance costs.

ASP is an Authorized Service Center for Philips Respironics and ResMed. We are able to complete warranty repairs, as well as, out of warranty repairs. We specialize in Home Respiratory Medical Equipment repairs for portable oxygen concentrators and CPAP machines.

The goal at ASP is simple: Your complete satisfaction. We’re a different kind of repair company; one that puts the customers best interests first. We believe that our long term success is dependent on earning and retaining the trust of our customers. We are not trying to maximize a “sale” associated with your equipment repair. We are managing our relationship by recommending appropriate outcomes, even if that means telling the customer the machine is not worth repairing and to decline the repair. We are experts in medical equipment repairs and our customers look to us for guidance in addition to performing the standard repair. We may have lost that sale, but we retained the trust of our customer, thereby being one step closer to achieving our goal of having a long term client through customer satisfaction.

Robert DeChelloBob DeChello is the President and Co-Owner of Altra Service Professionals, Inc, a full service Medical Equipment Repair company located in Ocala, Florida. Bob has over 25 years experience in the HME industry with a focus on operations, distribution, and cost reduction.

Prior to starting ASP, Bob worked as the Director of Operations for Critical Homecare Solutions, a national HME, Infusion, & Home Healthcare company. He spent four happy years with the CHS team with primary responsibilities including new acquisition operations integration, implementing and overseeing the centralizing of various departments, writing and implementing policy and procedures, and managing respiratory related purchasing agreements. Prior to CHS, Bob worked for Professional Home Care Services, a regional HME provider located in New England, for almost 10 years where he was the warehouse & distribution manager.

Bob lives in the Ocala, Florida area with his wonderful wife and 2 energetic boys. Bob enjoys doing anything that involves spending time with his family. The DeChello family moved to Florida in 2008 to get away from the cold New England winters, but enjoy visiting friends and family there. Prior to moving to Ocala, they lived in the Jacksonville, Florida area for 4 years.

Laurie DeChello, MPH, CPH

Laurie DeChello Blog PhotoLaurie DeChello is the human resources, accounts receivable, health educator, CPAP service technician, and a co-owner of Altra Service Professionals, Inc. Laurie has her Master’s in Public Health. She writes a health blog for the ASP website regarding issues related to respiratory illnesses and treatment. She also assists in keeping the office running smoothly.

Laurie has taught college level courses for Kaplan University in the health sciences. She previously taught public health courses at the University of Connecticut and performed epidemiologic research (the spread and control of diseases) also at the University of Connecticut for 11 years. She is widely published in the medical literature.

Laurie lives in the Ocala, FL area with her amazing husband, two adorable boys, rescue dog, chickens, goats, pigs, and Emu’s. She enjoys cooking and entertaining at her home. She is also busy keeping up with her two teenage kids.

Quality repair!! They diagnosed the issue fixed it and I received my CPAP back in great working condition. There was a software issue with the manufacturer of the device, Phillips, which delayed them repairing the machine. This was not an issue with Altra Service Professionals (ASP). ASP had great communication throughout the issue and kept me informed of the progress from the manufacturer I would highly recommend this company. Thank you!!

These folks are nothing short of amazing. They've kept our vintage ResMed S9 blowin' and goin' for years, at a reasonable cost and with a service speed that is downright astonishing. Reliable CPAP therapy is crucial to patients--it's lifesaving treatment, no two ways about it. Excellent service! Shipped them my CPAP machine using their pre-paid mailing label, and they quickly diagnosed the problem. The unit had to be sent to the manufacturer, Resmed. I was mailed what seems to be a brand-new machine. Altra saved me hundreds compared to buying myself a new one.

What a great service…… I have (2) ResMed BiPAP machines. Both machines were making a disturbing whining sounds when I would breathe in. This annoyed my wife to no end….. I live in Apopka, Florida….. I drove up one day and they fixed my machine in about 45 minutes the first day…… what amazing service. I ended up driving back up to have my second machine repaired!! It was well worth the small amount paid for service compared to the crazy prices for these machines!! Great job!!

I was hesitant that my machine could be repaired, but this service was extremely efficient, fast and transparent. I had several phone calls with them and they did not try and upsell me. In the end, we decided together what made the most sense in terms of repair vs cost. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, they repaired my old ResMed 10 that I use in my fifth wheel as a back up. Did amazing job, had bad whistle to it. Damaged due to me using SoClean on it for past 5 years. It was repaired very fast, came back with all the original settings in it, well packaged. Definitely recommend u using them for CPAP repair needs.

Altra Service did a FANTASTIC JOB on the repair of my CPAP machine. I was using a SoClean with my CPAP machine and it caused the seals and insulation to fail in the machine. I shipped my machine to Altra Service and had a quote back from them the same day of the machine's arrival at their shop! After authorizing the repair, same day they completed the repair within 24 hours and was back in my bedroom 1 week after sending it to them.

Dealing with them was easy and they were very professional through the whole process.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for servicing of your CPAP devices! GREAT JOB Altra Service!

Had a crack on the side panel of my Cpap. Called them to see is they could fix it. Options were to UPS or drive up. I drove up, they had the parts, they also figured out my motor was running loud. I recently sent in my AirCurve 10 for service with Altra Service Professionals after it reached its end-of-life hour counter. The entire experience was smooth and efficient from start to finish.

Being able to print out a prepaid shipping label made getting the machine to them a breeze. They repaired and shipped it back the same day, which is almost unheard of these days. The team was courteous, professional, and clearly runs a smart, customer-first operation.

They’re one of only two authorized repair centers for ResMed equipment, and after this experience, I can see why. Fast turnaround, clear communication, and zero hassle.

Highly recommend them if you need CPAP or BiPAP repairs done right.

Fast, great communication, and job done right the first time.

My CPAP machine started making 'whale wheezing' noises when I breathed, so seemed like the motor had thrown a bearing or something. Sent it in, got a diagnosis and quote within 24hrs of them receiving it. I said "Yes, please" and they had it done and shipped back the next day.
